A few words about Author
Born in "Manchester of South India", I began my journey as a software developer. I’ve always been drawn to stories like psychological thrillers, suspense, and horror. After years in tech, I returned to writing during the COVID lockdowns. What began as short stories became a full novel. My debut, Lucid Lies, explores memory, fear, and blurred realities.
It took years of patient work, rewrites, and review. What started at over 1 lakh words became a sharp, lean psychological thriller—my first step into the publishing world. I write in a format. Every narrative begins with a basic spark, which is developed into sketches and refined through draft after draft. I am concerned with the sense and rhythm behind each twist.

After the pandemic, Shruti moved to Bangalore with her childhood friend to start a new life. However, the dreams don't stop. In her sleep, she becomes trapped in strange, terrifying, and disturbingly realistic narrative dreams. A name echoed in her dream—names she doesn't recognise.
That is, until one day a stranger says it out loud.
Shruti begins seeing visions of a life she never lived—and a family she’s never known. Is it in pieces of a forgotten past? The truth about someone? Or rather, something her mind has dreamed up completely?
Lucid Lies is an investigation of the thin line between recollection and personality when your mind remembers what your life never knew—are they still your memories?
